Biography
Esteban Puentes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Universidad de Chile.
He is currently Alternate Director of the Millennium Nucleus in Social Development, Academic Director of the PhD in Economics and the Master in Economics and member of the board of the Chilean Economics Society.
He has served as undergraduate director of the School of Economics and Administration and as a consultant for the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, United Nations Development Program, among others. He was also a visiting scholar at the Population Studies Center of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
